Welcome
Foreigners who intend to stay in Turkey beyond the time limit specified in their visa, those who require a visa exemption, or those who intend to stay for more than 90 days must obtain a residence permit.
A Turkish Residence Permit allows you to stay in Turkey for more than three months in a half-year period for objectives such as residence, job, or study.
A residency permit allows you to live in Turkey, study, marry, change your driver’s license to Turkish, obtain a tax number, establish a bank account, buy property, make investments, and much more.
If you are moving to Turkey for the sole purpose of working, you will only require a work permit, which also functions as a residency permit.
